Nothing Just Happen, Can You Be The Change Agent?

    Comrade James

Dear Comrades and leaders, an American politician and lawyer who served as the 32nd president of the United States, Franklin D. Roosevelt, once said that, “In politics, nothing happens by accident. If it happens, you can bet it was planned that way.”

In the Not Too Young To Perform (NTYTP), there is a strategic master plan, very simple but requires the cooperation of us all to turn the country around for good.

Truth be told, Nigeria we have today is not the type of country we all desired and looked up for it’s manifestation while we were growing up.

It was never part of my dream to have a country where there is this current level of insecurity, poverty, unemployment, infrastructural decay and many more manifestation of bad leadership!

The United Arab Emirates (UAE), there are seven emirates that came together in 1971 to become UAE. One of the seven emirates id the Emirate of Dubai. Today, Dubai is one of the world’s development surprises. According to the city’s website, Dubai’s rapid development in various economic sectors meant that traditional processes needed to be continuously updated to ensure efficiency and speed. This is out of a deliberate vision of the leadership “TO MAKE DUBAI THE HAPPIEST CITY ON EARTH”.

This points to the fact that nothing just happens, someone must create the change he or she desires. Make what what you want to see happen!

So, Franklin D. Roosevelt was right when he said that “In politics, nothing happens by accident. If it happens, you can bet it was planned that way.”

As Nigerians, we can deliberately create the kind of country we dream of by taking the necessary actions.

Dubai had a plan, just like the NTYTP and it’s about time we made that commitment to actualize the aims and objectives.

We owe it as a duty to our children, born and yet to be born and the generations after us to bequeath a better Nigeria to them. People make things happen! Be one of them, Join the Not Too Young To Perform (NTYTP). Join a State Chapter and be active. Attend physical and online meetings.
